Governor Bala Mohammed Pledges Restoration of Games Village Eid Ground in Honour of Late Sheikh Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi

In a deeply emotional visit, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has pledged to restore the Games Village Eid Ground to serve the mosque and followers of the late Sheikh Dr. Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi.
During a condolence visit led by the Governor alongside top government officials to the mosque, he described Sheikh Abdulaziz’s passing as a monumental loss, not only to Bauchi State but to Nigeria at large.
"Sheikh Idris Abdulaziz was a beacon of religious knowledge, humility, and peace. His passing leaves a void in our spiritual and communal life," Governor Bala stated.
The Governor emphasized the significance of the Games Village Eid Ground in the religious life of the community and assured mourners that his administration would restore it to its former state for continued religious activities.
In appreciation, Malam Yau and Alhaji Shehu Barau Ningi thanked Governor Bala Mohammed for the heartfelt condolence and support, praying that Allah rewards him abundantly.

Families of Late Alhaji Hussaini Kirfi and RRS Commander CSP Tambuwal
Governor Bala Mohammed also extended condolences to the family of Alhaji Hussaini Kirfi, a revered statesman whose legacy of public service left a significant mark on Bauchi State.
Describing the late Kirfi as a "role model whose contributions to state development cannot be overemphasized," the Governor prayed for Allah’s mercy upon his soul and fortitude for the family.
Barrister Yakubu Kirfi, responding on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude to the Governor for his empathy and presence during their moment of grief.
In a separate visit, Governor Bala Mohammed commiserated with CSP Tambuwal, the Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), over the tragic death of his 11-year-old son, Mohammed Sulaiman.
The Governor prayed for the young soul to be granted Aljanatul Firdaus, offering words of comfort to the grieving family.
CSP Tambuwal, deeply touched, appreciated the Governor’s compassionate gesture and prayed for divine blessings upon him.
