Dan Gwate Distributes Food Items to Vulnerable Groups in Gombe

Gombe, March 28, 2025 – In a continued show of generosity, renowned philanthropist Alhaji Dan Gwate has distributed food items to vulnerable groups across Gombe State, further strengthening community support amid economic challenges.

The distribution, which took place in various local government areas, targeted widows, orphans, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and other less privileged individuals. Beneficiaries received essential food supplies, including rice, maize, millet, and cooking oil, to help them cope during the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.

Speaking during the distribution exercise, Alhaji Dan Gwate emphasized the importance of assisting those in need, particularly in challenging economic times. "This is part of our commitment to supporting the less privileged in society. Ramadan is a period of compassion and sharing, and we must do everything possible to ensure that no one goes hungry," he stated.

Similarly, the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Gombe State, Rev. Joseph Shinga, commended the effort, noting that such acts of kindness foster unity and social harmony.

Some beneficiaries, including Malama Hauwa Abdullahi, a widow in Akko LGA, expressed deep gratitude. "This support has come at the right time. I had no idea how I would feed my children this week. May Allah bless Dan Gwate for this kindness," she said.
