NSCDC Bauchi Commandant Oyerinde Receives Integrity Award

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State Command, Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde, has been honored with the Certificate of Integrity Steward Award by the Advocacy for Peace and Values Re-orientation in recognition of his dedication to service and contributions to national security.

A statement issued by the NSCDC Command Spokesperson, ASCII Saminu Yusuf, and made available to newsmen over the weekend, confirmed the award.

According to the statement, the award acknowledges Commandant Oyerinde’s exemplary leadership, integrity, and commitment to upholding ethical standards in security service.

“The Advocacy for Peace and Values Re-orientation, a non-governmental organization, is committed to promoting ethical leadership and a corruption-free society. The organization seeks to recognize and reward service-oriented leaders who demonstrate selfless service and responsible leadership,” said Comr. Abubakar A. Oyibo, the Executive Director of the organization.

Reacting to the honor, Commandant Oyerinde expressed gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the award to the leadership of the NSCDC under Commandant General Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi. He reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing security and fostering peace in Bauchi State.

“This award serves as both an honor and a challenge to continue striving for excellence and national security growth,” Oyerinde remarked.

He also appreciated the support of Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala A. Mohammed, for his role in promoting synergy among security agencies and ensuring a peaceful environment in the state.
