Gombe Governor Condoles Jigawa Counterpart Over Mother’s Death

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has extended his deepest condolences to his Jigawa counterpart, Mallam Umar Namadi, over the loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, who passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, December 25th, 2024.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who is also the Chairman of the Northern States Governors' Forum, described the late Hajiya Maryam as a woman of exceptional character, renowned for her generosity, and commitment to her family and community.
"Our dear mother, Hajiya Maryam lived a life of devotion, grace, and service to her family and community, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and piety. Her departure is a great loss, but her exemplary life and values will remain a source of solace and pride for her family and Jigawa State."
“Our thoughts and prayers are with our dear brother, Mallam Umar Namadi, his family and the entire people of Jigawa State. May Allah provide comfort and peace to you all as you pass through this period of profound grief.”
The Gombe Governor prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant her Jannatul Firdausi
