Islamic Development Bank Commends Almuhibba Foundation for the Judicious use of grants granted them to Empowers Women on Acha Fonio Project.

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) of Saudi Arabia has commended Almuhibba Foundation for the judicious utilization of the $100,000 grant it got from the Bank.
The Foundation successfully implemented the Women Empowerment Acha Fonio Project across Alkaleri and Dass LGAs, benefiting over 300 women.
Muhammad Golam Mortaza, an evaluation specialist from IsDB’s Independent Evaluation Unit, and other officials praised Almuhibbah Foundation for its exemplary utilization of a $100,000 grant awarded to empower women farmers in Bauchi State.

Bank commended Almuhibbah Foundation’s efforts.
Mortaza said we are happy with the Foundation for transforming the lives of beneficiaries through training and equipping women to grow and process Acha grains, a key intervention that enhanced their economic prospects.
“We conducted an independent evaluation and interfaced with beneficiaries. We saw the Acha grains they produced and witnessed the improved economic status of women within their communities,” said Mortaza. “This initiative exemplifies impactful development, and we congratulate Almuhibbah Foundation for this accomplishment.”
Dr. Aisha Bala Mohammed, First Lady of Bauchi State and Founder of Almuhibbah Foundation, expressed gratitude for the Bank’s evaluation. She described the commendation as a significant milestone for her team.
“An international organization recognizing our capacity to implement such an impactful project means a lot. This pass mark motivates us to do more,” Dr. Aisha noted, thanking her team for their dedication to the project.
Mrs. Ladi Ibrahim Thomas, Executive Director of Almuhibbah Foundation, highlighted the project’s goals of enhancing productivity, sustainability, and profitability in the Acha value chain. She expressed joy at the positive assessment, affirming the Foundation’s commitment to empowering vulnerable groups in Bauchi State.
